There is a beauty challenge going around on Facebook. This is where you post pictures of your self that make you feel beautiful.

I am so happy that inner strength and inner beauty messages have been prominent in the media lately. It’s about time! Originally I was happy just seeing everyone else post pictures they feel beautiful in, but now I’ve decided to try it myself. It’s actually very powerful to see other people post those pictures. They see their beauty and therefore you see it even more than you already did. It’s like an added boost of confidence is added to the picture without having to change it at all. Now that’s pretty cool right?

So here you go, my pictures that make me feel beautiful.

This is the most recent picture out of all of these and I love it because I think laughter is the most beautiful thing. A simple smile can make both you and everyone around you happier. I like that this wasn’t staged either. I’ve notice that in many pictures, people smile because they feel they have to. Not in this case

I forgot about this picture actually. It was my senior picture and I’ll never forget that day. It was super rainy outside and I did whatever I could to keep my hair straight until it was finally time to take the pictures. I thought it would be one picture and done, but it turned into a full out photo shoot and I absolutely loved the experience. The photographer and I clicked and again, I was genuinely smiling because I was having fun.

Ahh my brother! This was one of the best days of my life. I was homecoming queen my senior year and I will never ever ever forget that night. It was the best night out of my whole high school… or maybe even school career. It’s a memory that will stay with me forever.

I picked this photo because it was a very significant point in my life. It was the first picture taken where I felt like I was finally getting my strength back after a very long difficult year. If you want to read more about my story and what happened, click here.

And last but not least, this picture. I was at the Florida Blogging Conference and I met one of my favorite bloggers. This conference was a turning point in my life, and I am so excited every time I see this picture because I’ll be speaking at the next one!!
